“Once a work is out there, it doesn’t really matter what the excuses were.”
- Massimo Vignelli
My journey into design has been a windy one.
One of the last classes I took before graduating with a degree in corporate communication was a desktop publishing class. Bad, bad timing to finally find something that I absolutely enjoyed.
I spent the next few years working in a variety of positions, all within the marketing communications capacity at each company. Thankfully since each company was a startup, I got to dabble in design, doing everything from designing product one sheets to websites to building signage. This also meant that I got little to no sleep, which may have led to my eventual enrollment into art school. The rest as they say, are days of yore.
Anyway, here I am. Happy and loving each day I get to do what I truly enjoy doing.
Hopefully YOU enjoy what I've done so far.
Curriculum Vitae
Years of hands-on experience in all aspects of visual and interaction design for various companies ranging from beauty to healthcare.
Worked closely with product and engineering teams, allowing me to gain an understanding of many aspects of product development and the technologies used to build them.
I believe in simplicity when it comes to designing for the user. I don't believe in extraneous design to appease all audiences. I prefer a targeted approach, designing for the extremes and ensuring that the main product objectives are met elegantly.
